Art Exhibition with Stephine Pyren – ‘The Way I See It’

Come by Happy Medium Books Café to see our newest exhibit, The Way I See It by Stephanie Pyren-Fortel, curated by The Jacksonville Art Guild.

This exhibit will up from June 9-September 8th, with a reception with the artist July 20th 2-4pm.

About Stephanie Pyren-Fortel
Stephanie currently resides in Florida with her husband. She is a member of the Jacksonville Artist Guild and The national Guild of American Pen Women.
She has had over 21 solo and group showing Nationally and internationally, illustrated six Children’s picture books and other academic manuscripts.
Her talent and interests are somewhat diverse and have taken her to numerous locations and professions. She received her BA of Fine Arts at California State University Northridge then started working professionally at the age of 19 and has worked in all the major animation studios in Los Angeles California as a character and background artist for 40 plus years. Stephanie has also been involved in toy developed with Small World Toys and the Little Old Toy Maker, and taught life drawing and fashion illustration at the University of South Carolina. A wonderful part of her career was when she was asked to move to Barbizon France to help recreate the famous School of Barbizon at the request of famous French painter Jacques Harvey. In France, she continued to be commissioned for paintings and murals both private and public enterprises.
