Join us Sunday afternoon at the café to enjoy the works of Rev. Rebecca J Craig and Julie Delegal

Rev. Rebecca J. Craig is an ELCA pastor, artist, and former Disney Feature Animation story developer. A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Journalism) and Luther Seminary (M.Div) she brings a rich storytelling background to her ministry. She is author of “Once Upon a Nightmare: Through the Looking Glass of Narcissistic Abuse,” “Through Her Eyes: Biblical Women Speak” and illustrator of the children’s book, “Monty: A Tale of No Tail” by A.H. Kay. She currently serves as the lead pastor at Crossroad Lutheran Church in Fleming Island, FL.

Julie Delegal is an author and former freelance journalist who lives and writes in
Jacksonville. She published her first novel, SEEN, in 2021 under her own imprint, LeGlade Press. In 2022, SEEN won the IPPY Regional Gold Medal for Fiction in the Southeast Region. SEEN won the Eric Hoffer First Horizon Award, which recognizes excellence in fiction by a
debut author, in 2023. The awards inspired Julie to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at the Sena Jeter Naslund-Karen Mann Graduate School of Writing at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. She is working on a short story collection and plans to graduate in May. A native of Jacksonville, Julie is mother to three adult children, one Moyenne poodle, and a growing number of potted plants.

Join us to create a personalized mini-book jar to display your reads. You will decorate your choice of jar with stickers or by glass etching and then make the mini-books to fill your jar. No art skills required.

Each ticket includes the option of getting a personalized set of book covers. Your book request list must be submitted by January 16th to TheCraftyLibraryCo@gmail.com. If you do not submit a list, covers of the most popular books from all genres will be available for you to choose at the event.
