SUMMARY:Spooky Sunday with Tim Gilmore\, Armand Rosamelia\, and Victoria Nations
DESCRIPTION:Come experience the haunting readings of some from our local favorites!\nTim Gilmore is the author of The Wilderness and Willie Browne (2024) and 23 other books\, including The Mad Atlas of Virginia King and Devil in the Baptist Church: Bob Gray’s Unholy Trinity. He’s the creator of jaxpsychogeo.com\, a 12-year project (so far) that tells nearly 800 “true story portraits” of his hometown. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Florida and teaches writing at Florida State College at Jacksonville\, where four of his plays have been staged. He writes about the haunted South and how the South haunts America.\nArmand Rosamilia is a New Jersey boy currently living in sunny Florida\, where he writes when he’s not sleeping. He’s happily married to a woman who helps his career and is supportive\, which is all he ever wanted in life… He’s written over 200 stories that are currently available\, including crime thrillers\, supernatural thrillers\, horror\, zombies\, contemporary fiction\, nonfiction and more. His goal is to write a good story and not worry about genre labels. He also loves to talk in third person… because he’s really that cool. Maybe. You can find him at https://armandrosamilia.com for all of his information as well as random things he enjoys.\nVictoria is a horror writer and poet\, an eldergoth queer woman\, a Florida native\, and a biologist who is happiest in marshes and swamps. Victoria’s fiction appears in multiple venues\, including Dark Matter Magazine\, “Dangerous Waters: Deadly Women of the Sea\,” and “Fish Gather to Listen.” Her poetry appears in Magpie Messenger Literary Magazine\, “Under Her Eye\,” and “Mother: Tales of Love and Terror.” Victoria lives with her wife in St. Augustine\, and she’s deeply fond of Florida’s wild areas and quirky communities. Liminal spaces\, such as between water and land\, or human and monster\, often appear in her work.
